Introduction
Carré de sable
C’est à l’intérieur du cadre que tout se joue.
On en découvre les limites en le travaillant de l’intérieur.
On y est, une image pèse, une coupe tranche.
Le montage devient un geste tactile. Un bloc que l’on déplace, que l’on enlève, que l’on repose autrement. Un geste qui engage.
Qu’attendons-nous d’une image ?
Le regard-désir du spectateur sculpte le médium.
Je trace le périmètre avec ma caméra. Je pointe. Je cadre. L’intuition naît des limites.
Reconstituer un réel à partir de fragments et de détails.

Eine Sammlung von Momenten der Vergangenheit wird neu erlebt. Jene Gegenwart findet nicht mehr statt, außer in der Erinnerung und in dem Wunsch, zu dem zurückzukehren, was man nicht hatte.
A collection of moments from the past is relived. That present no longer exists, except in memory and in the desire to return to what one did not have.

Unsichtbare Präsenzen suchen die Ecken jedes Raumes heim. Eine Reihe von Kameras, vergessene Szenen. Der Geist ist die Maschine.
Invisible presences haunt the corners of every room. A series of cameras, forgotten scenes. The ghost is the machine.
Sous le soleil exactement (2024)
Die Stadt wartet, reagiert, zieht sich zurück. Sie verspottet den Blick, widersteht dem Ohr. Wird Zugehörigkeit jemals erreicht oder ist es das Dazwischen, das erstrebenswert ist? Die Suche nach etwas wie Harmonie und Frieden durch ein zerissenes Gefühl.
The city waits, responds, withdraws. It taunts the gaze, resists the ear. Is the belonging ever reached or is it the in-between that can be aspired to? The search for something like harmony and peace through a ruptured feeling.
Quatre altitudes bosniaques (with Samuel Terry Pitre, 2025)
Seeing is, at times, believing; yet the eye often sees less than it could or would. Taking its time, two pairs of eyes see what often remains hidden, the human between the cuts.
Sehen heißt bisweilen glauben; doch oft sieht das Auge weniger, als es könnte oder wollte. Sich Zeit nehmend, sehen zwei Augenpaare, was häufig verborgen bleibt, das Menschliche zwischen den Schnitten.
Noa Blanche Beschorner est une cinéaste et commissaire basée entre Tiotià:ke/Montréal et Berlin. Son travail s’ancre dans une exploration attentive de la durée et des gestes du quotidien, déployée à travers un regard sensible, où chaque image devient un lieu de réflexion sur le temps et la mémoire. Titulaire d’un BFA en production cinématographique de l’Université Concordia, elle œuvre comme coordonnatrice générale et programmatrice au sein de la lumière collective, un espace indépendant dédié à la diffusion du cinéma expérimental à Montréal.
Noa Blanche Beschorner is a filmmaker and curator based between Tiohtià:ke/Montreal and Berlin. Her work is rooted in a careful exploration of duration and everyday gestures, unfolding through a sensitive gaze in which each image becomes a site for reflection on time and memory. She holds a BFA in Film Production from Concordia University and works as general coordinator and programmer at la lumière collective, an independent space dedicated to the dissemination of experimental cinema in Montreal.
