Apparitions: Five films from Geister Film

Nowhen is happy to present Apparitions: five shorts by Geister Film. Starting Friday, the 13th of June, a selection of five short films from the Hamburg collective will be available on Nowhen‘s new streaming section Nirgendwo for one month.

RIO

Without talking, I am talking to you“ sing the singers accompanying Willie Colon in „Gitana“. Here figures talk without talking, mourn without mourning. Meanwhile, the animals do all this and more.

TOGETHER

In the heat of an apartment, bodies could fall apart any second, yet they persist, messily.

Živá Voda

Absences disperse and reconvene. Where there once was bodies, there is now only steam.

Dos amigos vuelven a casa solos de noche

Two friends observe, orient, decide and act in pursuit of their desire.

LE TANDEM

It begins with singing, then talk. Bodies and silence is all that remains.
